Miscreants has set fire in the body of a college girl student by pouring kerosene, in Narsingdi district. The girl’s name is Phulon Rani Barman and 22 years old.
The doctors said that 20 percent of her body was burnt. She was admitted to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital in a critical condition.
This incident occurred on Thursday (June 13th) at 8:30 pm at Birpur area of Narsingdi municipal.
The burnt Phulon Rani Barman is the daughter of Yogendra Barman of Birpur Mahalla (area) and from the Udayan College of Narsingdi, she is from HSC. Afterwards there was no entry anywhere.
The family members of the burned college girl said that, Phulon Rani Barman, who was returning home after a mobile recharge from a nearby shop. At that time, two unidentified miscreants took hold of her hand and took her to another place on the adjoining side. There poured kerosene into her body and set fire, after then miscreants ran away. After hearing the screaming of Phulon Rani Barman, the locals rescued her and took her to Narsingdi Sadar Hospital and later to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital.
Narsingdi city outpost sub-inspector Mizanur Rahman said the incident was reported in the hospital, including talking to relatives in the hospital after the incident of the burns. After the investigation, it is possible to say the reason for the fire and who is involved in the incident.
