Attacked on a Hindu Family, in Komolgonj, Moulavibazar. Six people injured including women.

Six people were injured in the attack by miscreants in Sri Sri Vishwakarma worship in Kamalganj, Moulvibazar. The incident took place on Monday (September 17th) at 5pm at Bishnupur village of Rahimpur Union. Preparing to file a case to the Kamalganj Police Station. The venue is visiting the Local Representatives (UP member).

It is known that on 17 September, the worship of Sri Sri Vishwakarma was worshiped by the saints (Hindu) people on Monday. On that day, some miscreants harassed the women on the street going to the house of the Sukhomoy Malkakar of Bishnupur village of Rahimpur union of No. 1 in Kamalganj upazila. In protest, Bappa Malakar and Sukant Malakar of the village of Bishnupur Mukhim Miah, Milon Miah, Babla Miah, Tarek Miah, Sohel Miah, Firoz Miah, Selim Miah, Sabaz Miah, Ekram Miah, Zahur Miah, Raihan Miah along with a group attacked to the Sukhomoy Malkakar’s home and beat of this family members. In this incident, Six people including women, were injured.
The injured were Gouranga Malakar, Sukhuth Malakar, Latu Malakar, Laxmi Rani Malakar, Rina Rani Malakar, Laxmi Rani Malakar. They took first aid.
Sukhuth Malakar, injured in the matter, said that after the worship of the devotees sitting in the house to receive the prasad, suddenly the local people attacked and everything was tarnished. Due to fear, the devotees go out without having Prasad. In such incident, the minority community became terrified.
Local journalist Anjan Prasad Roy Chowdhury of Bishnupur village informed Kamalganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mohammad Mahmudul Haq about the incident, when he went to the spot. When talking to Officer-in-Charge Arifur Rahman of Kamalganj Police Station on September 18, he said, no one complained about it yet.
